Norwich City will be looking to build on their promotion back to the Premier League after Daniel Farke's men went straight back up at the first attempt as Sky Bet Championship winners.

The likes of Teemu Pukki, Emiliano Buendia, Todd Cantwell and Max Aarons were once again standout performers at Carrow Road and the Canaries will be hoping that they can keep together the core of the squad heading into the upcoming 2021/22 campaign.

The futures of Buendia and Aarons have been the subject of much speculation and as a result of this, the club could well lose both players for substantial fees during the summer window.

Getting a good price for both individuals will be of optimum importance to Farke and his staff as they look to bring in new reinforcements.

Here, we take a look at NINE free-agents who Norwich City should have on their transfer radar and why.

The Barnsley skipper is set to be out of contract this summer after one of the finest seasons of his career to date and could well be open to making the move to the Premier League after slogging it out in the Championship for many years now.

Norwich have just seen the likes of Alexander Tettey and Mario Vrancic leave in more recent times and are in need of reinforcements in the midfield in order to also make up for the loss of Oliver Skipp, who has now returned to Tottenham Hotspur following the end of his loan spell.

Signing Mowatt would make a lot of sense.

The seemingly outgoing Bournemouth winger would surely jump at the chance to test himself back at Premier League level after missing out on promotion back to the top flight on the South Coast and for that reason Norwich could well take him on a free.

He would provide great back up to the likes of Cantwell and Buendia and has great experience of playing in the top flight, which is something that not all of the current Norwich squad have to their name.

Given that he is currently open to negotiating with other clubs as he mulls over a contract offer from the Cherries, City would be wise to strike soon and make him an offer.

Smith is said to still be in talks with Bournemouth over a potential stay, however he could be tempted to leave on a free transfer at the end of June if a club like Norwich came calling for his services.

The right back has built up some great experience since moving to the South Coast and wouldn't look out of place in the top flight after playing at that level for several seasons during his time with the Cherries.

He could be a great replacement or understudy for Aarons moving forward and would surely interest Farke to an extent this summer.

Marcondes is a player that Norwich have been linked with in the past and the Danish midfielder could be a great back up option for the Canaries after struggling to nail down a regular spot at Brentford.

He is set to be out of contract in June and at the age of 25, arguably still has his best years ahead of him as a professional.

Farke is well known for getting the best out of his foreign talents and Marcondes could thrive under his stewardship at Carrow Road if he swaps London for Norfolk during the summer months as he considers every option available to him.

The pacey Rotherham United right back could well be set to leave the New York Stadium this summer after his side were relegated back down to Sky Bet League One and as a result, a move back up the divisions could appeal to him.

At 23, Olosunde still has plenty of years of development ahead of him and would be the perfect replacement for Aarons at Carrow Road if he does indeed turn down Rotherham's offer of a new contract.

His pace and willingness to get forward combined with strong defensive skills will no doubt appeal to Farke if he goes in search of a new right back this summer.

The talismanic Ghanaian could well be open to leaving Swansea City this summer if his side lose in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final against Brentford and is set to be out of contract at the Liberty Stadium come the end of June.

He has been in brilliant form for the Welsh club this season and has helped to haul them into promotion contention.

However he has always spoken of his desire to get back playing in the Premier League and the Canaries could offer him that opportunity if the Swans fall short this coming weekend against the Bees at Wembley.

The outgoing West Brom forward would be a bit of a wild card option in the grand scheme of things for Norwich to pursue but he possesses great pedigree at the top level of both the club and international game, which has been garnered over the course of a few seasons.

He would provide great back up to the likes of Pukki and can also play in various other positions along the front line other than his preferred central striking role.

Robson-Kanu doesn't score many but his work rate would surely appeal to a manager like Farke, who demands a lot from his players when his team are out of possession.

Another outgoing West Brom player that could interest the Canaries is Grosicki, who at the age of 32, is immensely experienced despite hardly setting the world alight for the Baggies over the course of his stint at the Hawthorns.

He would likely be back up for the likes of Cantwell but he would be another wide option that could be acquired for next to nothing by Norwich as they look to add some much needed depth to the squad moving forwards.

The Pole would be a short term option but he would fill a spot in the squad and add something different to the Norwich attack.

The Spurs defender is seemingly set to leave the club this summer on a free transfer and would be the perfect signing for Norwich as they look to strengthen their numbers along the backline.

An experienced full back, Rose has now played at Premier League level for a number of years and has also played internationally for England in the past.

He will very much be looking to re-establish his career at the top level after a turbulent few years in North London and would arguably jump at the chance to join an up and coming club such as Norwich this summer.
