Sheffield United were eliminated from the FA Cup on Friday following a 1-0 away defeat against Premier League outfit Leicester City.

That defeat continued Chris Wilder's record of never having made it past the fifth round of the famous cup competition but also means that they can now focus their energy entirely on the Championship promotion push.

Wilder's side are currently ninth in the second tier, four points of the last play-off spot and will be looking for three points when they host Ian Holloway's Queens Park Rangers tonight.

Their last league outing, also in front of their own fans at Bramall Lane, resulted in a 2-1 Yorkshire derby victory over Leeds United so there isn't much need for Wilder to make alterations for the visit of the R's.

Billy Sharp netted twice on that occasion and he will rightly expect to keep his place after that. We've taken a look at who will line up alongside the Blades captain tonight...

Simon Moore is still absent due to the suspension he picked up against Wolverhampton Wanderers and that means that Blackman, who had been sidelined himself through injury, should continue in goal.

The Blades have been unable to keep a clean sheet in their past four games and rectifying that will be a priority for Wilder as he looks for his side to push themselves back into the top six.

Basham forms part of a no-nonsense back three that has been the bedrock of so much success for Wilder this season and if Matt Smith starts for Rangers then they will need all of that aggression and nous to keep the towering target man quiet.

We've already touched on the fact the Blades would love a clean sheet to break their recent poor defensive run and a good performance from Basham is key to that.

If I was Wilder, Stearman would be the man I was looking to most to keep Matt Smith quiet with his experience and physicality.

Stearman doesn't take any prisoners and he will need that approach against Smith tonight if the Blades are to get a result.

O'Connell has been arguably the most impressive of the Blades' back three this season and Wilder knows he can rely on him to deal with the threat of the QPR front two.

Rangers do have a tendency to send midfield runners bombing through gaps so he will have to ensure he does not leave gaps there that can be exploited.

Baldock admitted that Wolves gave Sheffield United a chasing but the fact that was an anomaly in the Blades' first season back in the second tier tells you all you need to know about how well they've done.

He will expect to be up against Jake Bidwell, hoping to push the R's man back rather than spending too much time in his own half defending.

Evans has settled well since joining from Wolves and put in a combative performance that was key to overcoming Leeds in Sheffield United's last league match.

It will be a battle in the midfield between two sides I expect to play 3-5-2 and he will need to show similar aggression if it is to be the Blades who come out on top.

Fleck won the penalty - converted by Sharp - that won the match against Leeds after a sharp free kick routine that caught the Whites unawares.

That was typical of the diminutive midfielder and he will hope to be one step ahead of the Rangers midfield three - which contains the quality of Australia international Massimo Luongo, so it'll be a test.

Duffy will be the member of the Blades midfield three charged with making the most forward bursts and linking the engine room with the front two.

His energy is key to his Blades side and it might come down to Josh Scowen to stick with his driving bursts forward, which is no mean feat.

Stevens is another dependable performer and should find himself up against Pawel Wszolek tonight, in what should be a good battle.

He will need all of his energy to try and push the visiting right wing back back towards his own goal while also making sure he is aware of any runners bursting into the space in behind him.

Clarke is still the second top scorer in the Championship, just two behind Derby County's Matej Vydra and if the Blades end the season in the play-offs, there is every chance Clarke will have grabbed the Golden Boot.

Even when he's not scoring, his presence causes problems for opposing defenders and he links up very well with Sharp.

We've already spoken about Sharp's impressive brace in the Yorkshire derby but his early volley deserves a fuller mention.

He ruthlessly punished some slack Whites defending to fire in, showing great technical ability having been recalled to the side.

Sharp on a goalscoring run really would get United's play-off rivals worried.
