Sheffield United earned potentially the result of the weekend in the Championship as they brushed aside Aston Villa 4-1 at Bramall Lane.

In fairness, it could have actually been more for the Blades as they missed some good chances as well on an afternoon to forget for the Villans.

The men from Bramall Lane were fantastic, then, with a number of their players standing out individually as well as as a team.

Mark Duffy, John Fleck and Billy Sharp were all excellent but in this latest FLW Spotlight, we're taking a closer look at midfielder Oliver Norwood and his display from the middle of the park:

A summer signing, many felt as though the move would work out well for both parties.

Certainly, the early signs are suggesting that will be the case, too, with a productive showing both in creating chances and scoring himself.

Perhaps his goal had an air of fortune about it but, at the same time, the delivery was still superb and it was deserved for what was a top all-round display.

With the win, the Blades are now well into the top six as we go into the international break.

Initial fears this season had grown after a slow start but, evidently, they are starting to click now.

Indeed, the new faces that have come in are beginning to show their worth and, after the weekend, few are doing so as much as the former Huddersfield man.
