Leeds United maintained their impressive unbeaten start to the Sky Bet Championship at the weekend, picking up a magnificent 3-0 away win against Stoke City.

The Whites have hit the ground running in the league this season, and sit at the top of the league table as the first month of the campaign draws ever closer to an end.

Marcelo Bielsa's side would have been buoyed on by their late 1-0 win against Brentford in midweek, where Eddie Nketiah came off the bench to score a late winner at Elland Road.

But there was no place for Arsenal in the starting line-up at the bet365 Stadium. Instead, Patrick Bamford kept his place in Bielsa's side, and his second-half strike secured a comfortable 3-0 win for the Whites.

That came after full-backs Gjanni Alioski and Stuart Dallas got on the scoresheet for Leeds - the latter putting in yet another impressive performance at right-back, in the absence of the injured Luke Ayling.

With Ayling stepping up his return to the first-team, it would be unfair to drop Northern Ireland international after a series of solid displays in defence, but he adds so much to Bielsa's side other than that.

Here, we take a look at his performance against the struggling Potters, as Bielsa's men piled the pressure on under-fire Stoke boss Nathan Jones.

Two full-backs got on the scoresheet for Leeds at the weekend, which pays tribute to Bielsa's free-flowing, fast-paced attacking style of football.

Dallas played for the duration of the match, and added plenty of quality to a Leeds attacking line that was far too strong for a Stoke side that has now shipped 13 goals already this term.

His goal came about after a moment of genius from Pablo Hernandez - after intricate one-touch football in the middle of the park, Hernandez picked out the onrushing Dallas with an exquisite first-time pass, who slotted calmly under Adam Federici to open the scoring for Leeds.

Dallas got in behind James McClean with far too much ease with his only progressive run of the game - Alioski's goal was also vaguely similar, getting in behind Tom Edwards and tapping in Bamford's low cross at the back post.

Dallas loved to bomb forward at the weekend, putting together some really impressive link-up play with Mateusz Klich down the right-hand side, accruing a 89% pass success rate and a 92% pass into the final third accuracy.

Stoke did threaten to cause Leeds in the opening stages of the game, and it was McClean who got in behind and whipped in some teasing deliveries. Dallas will be somewhat disappointed with his defensive efforts, winning only three out of eight defensive duels, a rate of 38%.

The 28-year-old was a bit-part player at times under Bielsa last season, but he is proving to be an extremely crucial player for the Whites in their push for promotion this term.
