QPR have had an impressive start to the season, and are currently challenging at the right end of the table following a couple of years of poor football.

The new-look side has performed very well, and they have been exciting going forward which will have pleased R's supporters around the club.

One of the key parts to their game has been scoring goals and that has come through loanees, Jordan Hugill and Nahki Wells. They have both hit good figures considering we're just 11 games into the season, and that will have excited fans as they look ahead to the rest of the season.

With creative midfielder, Eberechi Eze, and box-to-box star, Ilias Chair, QPR have a team that looks set up for future success, especially in this division.

One part of their game that they need to work on is the defence as they've conceded a high number of goals, although there have been star performers in the defensive side despite the lack of clean sheets.

Mark Warburton plays an expansive game that will always mean that the side will concede goals, and that is something that they have to accept if they want to play this attacking.

One defender who seems to have come into the team and added more than just defensive work is Toni Leistner.

The 29-year-old has made eight appearances this season for the R's and has come in and tried to help link the backline to the midfield.

His pass accuracy is quite stunning for a centre-back. He's got an 88.2% pass accuracy and that has allowed players such as Eze the freedom to run with the ball after being picked out by Leistner, who rarely gives the ball away.

He's also good in defensive terms and has made 40 interceptions in his eight appearances, and it works out as an interception every 16 minutes for QPR.

In clearances, he's made 24, but that's understandably lower than some other sides, purely down to the fact that he's likely to look to pass it out from the back.

Obviously, he still has a lot to improve on, as QPR will be desperate to find their first clean sheet of the season as soon as possible, if that's to happen, Leistner must carry on performing in the defence.
