Averaging 3.36 loose ball duels per 90 during the 2021/22 campaign, Bastien’s data suggests he can meet the demands of operating as an all-action kind of midfield operator.
Making 29 attempted passes per 90, Bastien returns an impressive success rate of 87.6%, with an average of 6.76 of his passes going forward.
This is higher than the average numbers of backwards passes per 90 he made last season (5.31), showing signs of positivity and bravery when in possession.
Interestingly, Bastien’s pass accuracy stayed beyond 80% when just regarding passes into the final third, proving to be extremely productive when in possession.
