Sheffield United have enjoyed a fine start to the season, with Chris Wilder's men looking capable of maintaining a promotion push this season.

Supporters of the Blades won't be getting ahead of themselves, though, after what happened last season, but there has to be a confidence given the way they are playing.

Wilder is big on the team ethic, meaning everyone has a role to play in their success, however, certain individuals do stand out.

Yet, one player who maybe doesn't get the credit he deserves, or at least away from the club, is Mark Duffy.

As our graphic shows, he is a vital figure in this side, making a big difference in the middle of the park.

The 85% pass success rate highlights exactly what Duffy is all about, with the 32-year-old extremely composed in possession and capable of keeping things ticking over.

But, it's not like he's one to keep it safe throughout the game. The 1.3 key passes per game and 1.1 dribbles prove that he is a forward-thinking midfielder and he has also chipped in with goals.

That energy and drive from deep gives the Blades a different threat and means that there is a great balance with Duffy alongside Oliver Norwood and John Fleck in central midfield.

Playing with a trio also ensure he has a license to get forward, and as we can see, he is making the most of that.

So, whilst he may not be a name that frightens fans of other Championship clubs, Duffy is a vital part of this Sheffield United team and will play a crucial role as they look to make this a memorable campaign.
