Wolves will already be planning for life in the Premier League and they are expected to make some big moves in the transfer market given the connections the club have.

Owners Fosun International have a close relationship with super-agent Jorge Mendes and he has been key in bringing the likes of Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves to the Black Country.

It has also presented them with the opportunity to utilise the foreign market much more successfully than they have done in the past.

And, one man they should move for this summer is Portugal international Joao Mario who is currently on loan at West Ham United from Inter Milan.

Whilst he has done okay at the Hammers, they have just parted company with David Moyes and a new manager may not be keen on the former Sporting Lisbon man which could give Wolves a chance to pounce.

It was only two years ago that the midfielder moved to Inter Milan for a huge fee, believed to be around £35m and at 25-years old he should still have a lot to offer.

Technically sound and capable on the ball, as our graphic shows, he would fit into the style that Nuno Espirito Santo demands from his team.

As well as that, he has spent the past few months in English football which means he will be more aware of the demands ahead of next season and could enjoy playing with a lot of his fellow countrymen at Molineux.

Joao Mario is a very talented player but his career has stalled in the past few years and a move to an ambitious Wolves side could benefit all parties.
