Brentford staged a stunning comeback win over their London rivals Millwall at the weekend, coming back to win 3-2 in a game that nobody expected to turn out the way that it did when the clock hit 80 minutes.

Millwall took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Tom Bradshaw and Jed Wallace, but as the clock hit 84 minutes, the tide turned on The Lions as The Bees took their chance to sting and hurt Adam Barrett's men in dramatic fashion, scoring three in around ten minutes to make sure the three points stayed at Griffin Park.

Youngster Josh Dasilva was a player who shone during the closing stages between the two sides, and here's why he was a player to watch late on for Brentford on Saturday...

Dasilva ended up playing a massive part for Brentford when he was introduced as a 72nd minute substitute for Christian Norgaard with the scores at 2-0 and Brentford increasingly looking like they wouldn't get anything from the game.

However, Dasilva's introduction changed everything as during his 26 minute cameo, the 20 year-old shone brighter than all on the pitch with his gutsy performance from central midfield.

The former Arsenal youth graduate really took the game by the scruff of the neck as he was the one who brought Brentford back into the game, scoring in the 84th minute as his effort from outside the area fizzed into the bottom corner of the net to make sure that it was game on once again.

Dasilva was really coming into his own as his display from the centre of midfield started to show all inside Griffin Park what he was all about, as he kept possession ticking over in the middle of the park by completing eight successful passes, four of those being forward ones.

The youngster created a chance for one of his team-mates by twisting and turning on the right flank before laying a pass off to the edge of the are as Brentford really searched for a goal, and the midfielder lived up to doing his defensive duties by recovering well to win the ball back inside the Millwall half once during his cameo appearance.

Dasilva can take plenty of heart from his performance against Millwall, and he can expect to see first-team football more regularly.
