Celtic are on the brink of another Scottish title win and will be hoping that confirmation of their league win comes about sooner rather than later - in whatever way is necessary.

That will then pave the way for a shot at a tenth title in a row and that, in essence, is what Bhoys fans want to see more than anything else.

The summer could be big for the Hoops, then, particularly if Odsonne Edouard leaves with the striker bound to attract interest in the window.

And so, that in mind, we're looking at 8 strikers that could help replace him if he did move on:

Victor Osimhen is very similar to the likes of Odsonne Edouard and Moussa Dembele so there should be a natural attraction to him from the Hoops.

He's in his early 20s and has scored 13 times for Lille this season in the top division in France.

Habib Diallo is another player to have excelled in France this season for Metz.

He's bagged 12 goals for himself in the top flight over the other side of the channel and has also set a further 3 up for team-mates.

Myron Boadu is still a teenager but is a real bright spark.

He's one of the leading goal-scorers in the Eredivisie and has 14 goals and 6 assists for AZ Alkmaar.

Celtic could benefit hugely by offering him the chance to progress.

Lawrence Shankland needs next to no introduction for fans of the Scottish game.

His goal-scoring record in recent seasons has been phenomenal as he has worked his way up and it surely seems a matter of when rather than if when it comes to getting a big move to a club like Celtic.

Lyndon Dykes might be worth a punt from the Hoops with him scoring 9 and setting up 5 for Livingston this season in the Scottish Premiership.

He's not a straight replacement for Edouard but his link-up play is good and he could work well with the talented attackers around him - he's impressed against the Hoops this season as well.

Charlie Austin has recently hit the headlines in Scotland for revealing how he'd be tempted to move to one of the Old Firm should an offer come in for him.

A natural finisher with plenty of time left in his career, he could be available for the Hoops if they were interested in him.

Gary Hooper has been linked a lot with a return to Celtic but that's never materialised.

He's currently down under with Wellington Phoenix but could the Bhoys look to bring him in for one last hurrah and ten-in-a-row? Perhaps it's one to consider.

Lyle Taylor is currently on course to leave Charlton Athletic this summer and unless he signs a new deal he is available on a free.

He's a good finisher and might relish the chance of another spell in Scottish football after periods with Falkirk and Partick Thistle.
