Bournemouth are now preparing for their return to the Premier League following automatic promotion from what proved to be an exciting Championship campaign, with the Cherries finishing second to Marco Silva's Fulham

Scott Parker's side managed to secure their much-deserved spot in next season's top-flight on the penultimate game of the season, defeating Nottingham Forest 1-0 to confine the Reds to the play-offs.

Whilst possessing a squad that largely appears ready for the rigours of Premier League football, the south coast club will be looking to ensure survival upon their return by smart recruitment.

Whilst the free agent market is always an interesting marketplace to look into when intelligently trying to bolster competition levels within a squad, top tier loans is another exciting possibility to achieve that same objective.

Here, we take a look at eight current Premier League players who the Cherries could look to sign on loan next season...

Nat Phillips has enjoyed an excellent loan stint with the Cherries since his January addition, and should Bournemouth miss out on striking a permanent deal for the Liverpool centre-back, they should look to bring him back on loan.

Possessing excellent levels of physicality and defensive intelligence, Phillips formed an excellent partnership with Lloyd Kelly, with the pair emerging as an extremely reliable defensive duo.

Phillips is someone who has proved his ability in the Premier League and could play a pivotal role should Bournemouth come back in for him.

Folarin Balogun impressed in stages during his loan stint with Middlesbrough, with his technical ability, productivity in the final third and athleticism all being on show in the Championship.

Naturally, Arsenal could be looking for a higher level suitor to help continue his development and prepare him for an Arsenal return.

Still seemingly in need of a destination to bridge the gap from the Championship to a top end Premier League club, Bournemouth could be an excellent destination.

Now looking into a situation that does not appear too likely to happen, but something that remains a possibility, Lloyd Kelly could continue to attract interest from Newcastle United and offer a difficult deal for the Cherries to refuse.

If that was to happen, then Jake Clarke-Salter could prove to be an option.

Currently contracted until next month at Chelsea, the Blues may look to offer the defender fresh terms after an impressive campaign.

Should that happen, then the Cherries should look into the possibility of signing the 24-year-old, with the technically-gifted left-footed defender also possessing maturity beyond his years.

Sticking with the scenario of Kelly possibility departing, perhaps an even better option for the south coast club to consider would be Levi Colwill.

The Chelsea loanee has excelled during his time with Huddersfield Town this season, and should the Terriers remain a Championship club, then the Cherries should capitalise.

Also a left -footed centre-back who progressed well with the ball, he has shown great levels of defensive intelligence and athleticism during this Championship campaign.

No one has managed to really grab hold of the right-back position at The Vitality Stadium this season, with Ethan Laird, Jack Stacey and Adam Smith all impressing in glimpses.

This could pave the way for the temporary arrival of Chelsea right-back Dijon Sterling, who spent last season on loan at Blackpool.

The highly-rated 22-year-old is set to be assessed by Thomas Tuchel in the summer, so if it is deemed that an additional move is required, Bournemouth could be the club to take on the exciting full-back.

Tahith Chong proved to be an absolute hit with Birmingham City fans before injury hindered his progression in a Blues shirt.

A constant source of chances and assists, the young Duthcman's ability to take on a man, and provide something with quality, saw him instantly win a lot of fans from the Midlands.

It remains to be seen what the immediate future holds for the 22-year-old, with the exciting winger certainly a player that would bolster Parker's attacking options, and would help improve the service that Dom Solanke and Kieffer Moore would receive.

Manchester City's Tommy Doyle is someone who could help bolster the competition levels in the Bournemouth midfield next season.

The exciting midfielder operator, who has impressed on loan with Cardiff City since arriving in South Wales in January, offers final-third prowess, whilst can also shine when deployed slightly deeper.

Enjoying a meteoric rise, and rated highly by the Premier League leaders, a move to Bournemouth could benefit all parties that would be involved.

To ensure that Mark Travers has healthy competition for a starting spot next season, Chelsea's Nathan Baxter is an option that could certainly do just that.

The 23-year-old, who has thoroughly impressed whilst on loan at Hull City this season, possesses excellent shot-stopping abilities, a real composure with the ball at his feet and has also proven to be a commanding presence.

Baxter is someone that could adapt to the rigours of Premier League football and could be someone that Parker considers this summer.
