For those who are self-isolating, what better way is there to pass the time than by playing Football Manager?

The ultimate binge game, and one that plenty of people have lost hours and hours of their lives to. Here we take a look at eight players you should sign for your QPR save:

QPR are tight, and with that being said you should look at exploit the free market. One player who could be of use is Martin Olsson. The full-back is still without a club having left Swansea in the summer, and with plenty of Championship experience, a two-year deal for the 31-year-old would be the way to go.

The ex-Villa man was a favourite at the club, and played a handful of games as Dean Smith saw them to promotion last season. A one-year deal would be right for this move, and it'd provide some much needed cover in a position where numbers are light at QPR.

One last free agent for you, and an exciting one - Diego Poyet. The son of Gus is yet to live up to expectations. He's a product of the West Ham academy and has featured for Charlton in the past, but he's not tasted first-team action for two seasons now. The 24-year-old could yet have a future (on your FM save) though.

Clarke-Harris was the subject of transfer talk last January, and was linked with QPR amongst a host of other teams. He's a fine striker and he is on FM too - he's powerful, prolific and still with his best years ahead of him. His services would likely set you back a couple of million though.

Alongside Conor Masterson, this could be your QPR centre-pairing for years to come. Whatmough has been somewhat exiled by Kenny Jackett this season, but the 23-year-old holds clear ability, and is a really good defender on FM with plenty of potential too.

Both on FM and in real life Anderson is a prolific member of the Lincoln City side. He's a right-sided winger who has good defensive stats as well as attacking, and at 23-years-old he's another who could prove really pivotal in the future.

After the first season, both Jordan Hugill and Nahki Wells will be departing, and you'll be in need of a striker. A good candidate, and one who QPR really should've signed in real life, is Lawrence Shankland. The Scot was heavily linked with QPR in January, and is a bit of a goal-machine on FM too.

Another name who QPR fans would've loved to see make the move in the winter transfer window - Aberdeen defender McKenna. Players from Scotland are often cheaper and on lower wages, but McKenna is a solid choice though, and an ideal replacement for the high-earning Grant Hall or Toni Leistner.
