If you like Football Manager, then Brentford could be a good shout.

Enough money, a lot of good players and a whole load of youngsters in their B team. Brentford are a good team to start with on Football Manager, which is a good game to binge if you're self-isolating.

Here we take a look at eight Brentford players who should sign for your FM 2020 save:

A free agent having left Swansea last season, Olsson suffered heavily with injury but remains a talented Championship player, and one who'd fit Brentford's Scandinavian recruitment pattern - a one year deal might be worth a punt.

The Bristol Rovers man has had a fine season in League One, and is a fine player on FM too. The 25-year-old has strong physical attributes and is a keen poacher, and could prove a worthy back-up to Ollie Watkins should he be injured.

The Danish U21 player is making a lot of noise in his native Denmark. A left-side defender, the 22-year-old has been a huge player for Danish SuperLiga side Vejle this season, and would be a worthy replacement for the ageing Henrik Dalsgaard later down the line.

As much as Brentford love a European prodigy, they also love to scour the lower leagues for their finest, young talents. One who you should look at on FM is Fleetwood Town's Connolly. The 22-year-old is the heartbeat of Joey Barton's side, and a player who boast great stats, and a great transfer value in a few years of your game.

Sandefjord's Anton Kralj is another young, left-sided defender who hails from Scandinavia, and one who could also be a likely replacement for Dalsgaard. He's a tad more pacey than Amundsen, and shouldn't cost you a whole lot of money either.

Another name in League One who's a steal, both on FM and in real life, is Lincoln City winger Anderson. The right-sided player has tonnes of physical attributes and is a keen crosser and finisher too - well worth a punt.

Jong Ajax have long been a keen exported of some of Europe's best young talents, and Jensen could well be another to add to that list. A prolific scorer for the Danish U19 and for Jong Ajax, Jensen needs signing before the big clubs come calling.

Portsmouth's Curtis is one of League One's fastest and most prolific wingers. A left-sided player, he boasts high potential on FM and should be a suitable replacement should you choose to cash in on Said Benrahma.
