Such was the dominance with which Rangers won the Scottish Premiership, it's hard to believe we're still in the same season - though the Gers still have something to play for.

Indeed, they're now looking to go unbeaten with the split in the league coming into effect and that will be the aim for Steven Gerrard and his men.

Here, though, we're looking at eight players that could leave the club this summer for one reason or another - take a look at see what you think...

George Edmundson is currently out on loan with Derby County but has picked up an injury and his longer-term future at Ibrox is far from clear right now.

Football Insider reported last month he is one player that the Gers might consider letting go this summer and with him struggling to really make an impact this season before leaving for the Rams, you can understand that line of thought.

Jordan Jones is another player that could well leave Ibrox this summer with him again out on loan in the EFL after struggling to get into the Rangers side.

He's never really managed to stay in the team since arriving from Kilmarnock and some off-field matters probably haven't helped his cause.

He stayed last summer and flirted with the first-team but is out of favour again and it's hard to see a long-term Gers future for him.

Filip Helander, according to Football Insider, is another player Rangers might be willing to let leave this summer.

They report that the Gers are looking at new defensive recruits in the upcoming window and that, therefore, some senior players at the club will need to make way.

Alongside Edmundson, Helander is another.

Greg Stewart's future at Rangers also appears quite uncertain at the moment.

He's been limited for playing time drastically this season with several options in front of him and his contract is also coming to an end at the end of the campaign.

He's a player who has something to offer the right club but it appears as though Rangers might well be willing to let him go as things stand.

Jermain Defoe is another player whose contract is coming to an end at Rangers and it could well be the case he leaves the club this summer.

He's a veteran in his late 30s and this season we have seen his playing time reduced with the likes of Kemar Roofe coming onto the scene at Ibrox.

A quality player at his peak, time will tell what he wants to do next with his career.

Andy Firth is behind both Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin at Rangers in terms of the goalkeeping pecking order at Ibrox and with the former showing no signs of stopping with a new contract signed for next season, it's hard to see that changing any time soon.

He'll want to be playing, of course, and move this summer could well be on the horizon for him, there seems a good case for that.

Robby McCrorie is in a similar position to Firth.

He is even further down the pecking order at the moment and with a loan at Livingston under his belt this season he'll want to be getting more game-time than he is perhaps going to by sticking around at Ibrox.

He's a decent young goalkeeper and it'll be interesting to see what the plan is for him this summer.

Glenn Middleton is a bright young player who has perhaps stalled ever so slightly since arriving on the scene at Rangers - though he is still a very young footballer and that is nothing to worry about.

However, it's still hard to see him getting into the first-team and St Johnstone and the winger himself have admitted another loan would be something they'd explore for next season.

Is there a case for a permanent deal to be done even? We shall see.
