Queens Park Rangers have enjoyed a very good 2020, with Mark Warburton's side moving from relegation danger into the top-half of the Championship.

A productive January transfer window was the catalyst for the turnaround, and it will leave R's supporters excited about what the future can hold.

Of course, things are slightly complicated by the fact that plenty of the current squad are on loan, and the financial situation at the club means they aren't able to splash the cash like they may have done previously.

Therefore, whilst new signings will arrive, it's about balancing the squad, so departures are inevitable too.

And, here we look at EIGHT who could leave the Londoners in the upcoming window...

This is not one that QPR fans will want to happen, as Dieng has been outstanding in goal since he made himself the number one at the club.

Unfortunately for the R's though, his form has caught the eye of others, with The Sun recently claiming that West Ham are readying a £6m bid for the stopper.

You'd like to think that figure is far too low for a keeper of Dieng's ability, but it could be tough to stand in his way if bigger offers arrive.

QPR have shown they will sell at the right price, which is the way to operate, so they need to have a backup plan ready if the Premier League comes calling for Dieng.

Another keeper that could be on the move is Lumley.

He has endured a hugely frustrating season as a result, as he just hasn't been able to get the minutes that he would've wanted, which is why he has had emergency loan spells in League One with Gillingham and Doncaster.

With his contract expiring in the summer, this is a situation that the stopper is in control of and it's inevitable that he will now move on. Given his pedigree this is a bit of a blow for the R's, but that's what happens when you let a player run his deal down.

Major changes could be required in the goalkeeping department as Kelly is another stopper who could be on the way out.

The 25-year-old is currently out on loan with Motherwell in Scotland and he has impressed a lot. So much so, boss Graham Alexander has already made it clear that he would love to bring the player back next season.

QPR hold the power in this one though, as he still has a few years left on his deal, so they won't be forced to sell. Yet, it wouldn't be a surprise if Kelly pushed for a move as he wants to be playing regularly as well. If that happens, he could leave.

The left-back is a respected figure at the club, but with his contract expiring in the summer, there's no guarantees that he will stay.

There are reasons to be positive from the R's perspective though, as Warburton has made it clear that he wants to keep the former Rangers man, and he will be pleased with the contributions he has made this season, and particularly in recent weeks.

But, with his deal up in the summer there is always a risk that he could depart. The length of a new contract could be an issue, or a rival offer coming in for the player. This is something the R's should have sorted before now.

The USA international is in a very similar position to Wallace, in that he is out of contract in a matter of months and won't know where his future lies.

Again, Warburton has explained that he values the qualities Cameron brings on and off the pitch, so if it was down to him a new deal would be signed tomorrow.

But, no agreement has been reached with the 35-year-old, with his age and injury record factors that the hierarchy may be taking into consideration. The longer it drags on, the more chance that Cameron may leave the R's in the summer.

This is one that will annoy most QPR fans and, in fairness, you can understand why. Chair has been outstanding this season, but he more importantly committed his long-term future to the club in January.

So, there certainly shouldn't be an expectation that Chair will leave. However, the reality is that his form will have attracted Premier League attention, because he has been that good.

If one club is determined to pay big money to land the attacking midfielder then contracts ultimately mean nothing, and the appeal of the top-flight could be too much. It's one that could leave some fans anxious until the window is shut.

The Northern Irish attacker arrived from Linfield in 2017 and it was evident pretty quickly that he was talented.

Despite his ability, the versatile forward hasn't really kicked on at QPR, with most of his appearances coming when he was out on loan. Spells with Accrington, Wycombe and Charlton have followed in the years, with Smyth now back at Stanley this season.

The fact he keeps going out on loan suggests that Smyth is not making the impression he would've wanted to the management, so a permanent exit after all those loans could be on the cards.

The striker joined from Charlton this summer and whilst he has shown glimpses of his talent, three league goals in 31 games just isn't good enough.

Worryingly for the player, he has barely featured in recent weeks and the fact he couldn't get off the bench in the recent win over Sheffield Wednesday when Charlie Austin was suspended doesn't bode well.

At 25, Bonne will want to be playing week in, week out and it doesn't look as though he will get that at QPR. Therefore, a move could suit both parties and it would give Warburton the freedom to bring in another striker or two.
