Leicester City have had a good season this year and will be eager to finish it off in style as they challenge for a top-four spot.

The events of last year will be fresh in their minds as they threw away Champions League football and a repeat will really irk Brendan Rodgers and his players.

A big summer awaits the Foxes, meanwhile, and here we've been considering some players that could leave the club in the off-season.

Here, then, are eight men that could leave the club for one reason or another in the summer transfer window...

Rachid Ghezzal has been on loan this season at Besiktas and it's hard to see where he gets back into the Leicester side in all honesty.

He's a decent level of player but perhaps not good enough for the Foxes now and it'd be no shock to see him move away on a more permanent basis this coming summer transfer window.

Matty James has been on the books of the Foxes for a long time but that could well come to an end this summer.

His contract is running down and expires this summer, with it hugely unlikely that the Foxes are going to be willing to sign him up to new terms.

He's been on loan at Coventry this season, perhaps his future could lie there?

Filip Benkovic is up next on our list.

He's a bright defender and definitely one that could have a really fine career in the game but is that going to happen at Leicester?

The Foxes have some top options at centre-back and there's every chance an offer could convince them to let the Croatian go.

He's on loan at OH Leuven right now.

Wes Morgan will go down as a Leicester City hero but it seems very likely he is off at the end of this campaign.

The skipper of the famous Premier League winning side, he'll always be welcomed back at the King Power but he has hardly played this season, is right down the pecking order and has a contract in its final months.

He'll be gone in the off-season.

Christian Fuchs is in a similar position to Morgan.

Again, a key member of the title win back in 2015/16, Fuchs has played a little bit more than Morgan this season but still not much at all.

He's a player that's been linked with an exit before and with his contract up in the summer you can see him heading away from the club this year.

Eldin Jakupovic is another player to have been at the club for a while now but has seen game-time hugely limited.

He is a back-up to the back-up goalkeeper and that normally means one thing, a lot of splinters in your backside.

Indeed, he's been a benchwarmer at best and missed a lot of matchday squads with Danny Ward challenging Kasper Schmeichel so there's every chance he could be wanting a move.

Sidnei Tavares is a young player whose contract is running down and this is starting to cause an issue at Leicester.

He's a bright young player and could well be one for the future but Leicester are currently running the risk of seeing him leave on a free.

Indeed, for that fact, he is a player we could end up see leaving the King Power.

Daniel Amartey's contract expires in the summer of 2022, in fact, so could Leicester be willing to sell him for the right price this summer?

He's a player that has played in part during his time at the club but probably isn't a first-choice option and do the Foxes seeing him staying around for longer than another year max? If the answer is no perhaps they're open to a deal.
