It has been a tricky 2021 for Aberdeen as Stephen Glass looks to keep his side in the Europa League qualification places in the SPFL table.
The club sit fourth in the SPFL standings and eight points clear of Livingston, who occupy fifth spot.
But Aberdeen’s form of late has been a bit of a worry. They have won only three league games in 2021, but did return to winning ways against St Johnstone at the weekend.
In fairness to Aberdeen, the club have lost some pretty important players over the course of the season.
Scott McKenna and Sam Cosgrove both moved to the English Championship with Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City respectively.
The funds they received from the two players’ sales could be used this summer, though, as the manager looks to strengthen his squad.
