Reading have endured a real difficult campaign and sit only four points ahead of the relegation zone as we approach the final part of the season.

Given they were penalty-kicks away from the Premier League in May, it’s understandable that fans have been unhappy with the dramatic decline in Jaap Stam’s side.

One reason for their struggles is the poor recruitment that took place in the summer, with several new signings not making a suitable impact.

However, one man who has turned out to be a positive addition is Mo Barrow, who joined from Swansea in the summer.

As our graph shows, he has established himself as one of the main men for the Royals going forward with nobody else matching his levels of productivity.

His eight goals make him the top scorer for the side this season and six assists is also unrivalled in the squad.

Barrow also has more to his game, as 2.2 dribbles per game and 1.1 key passes per game shows. It proves how he is prepared to run at defenders and has good vision.

Whilst the pass success rate isn’t great at 71.6% it’s worth remembering that the 26-year old will often be receiving the ball in the final third, where he's expected to make things happen.

Reading may have had a very difficult season but Mo Barrow is doing his best to ensure it doesn’t become a disastrous one as without his input the Royals could be in an even worse position.
