If the search for an option between the posts was to take them to the Championship, then Lee Nicholls would surely have to be a target, following an excellent first season at Huddersfield.

Following his move to the Terriers last summer, Nicholls was seen by many as the best ‘keeper in the Championship in 2021/22, helping his side to the play-off final only to miss out on promotion, meaning the 29-year-old could be ready for the step up to the top-flight.
