Barnsley got themselves a massively important win at the weekend as they beat Birmingham City at St. Andrew's.

The men from Oakwell were all too aware of how big the game was in terms of the battle down at the bottom and it was they that outperformed the Blues to stroll to a 2-0 win.

Birmingham, then, saw their poor run of form continue but the Tykes finally ended their rut with victory and now Jose Morais will be looking to see his side build.

With our latest FLW Spotlight leading the line, too, they've got a chance of doing just that - let's take a closer look at Oli McBurnie's showing:

McBurnie has quickly become an important player for the Tykes and with Tom Bradshaw on a long-running goal drought and Kieffer Moore also struggling for confidence, he is the key man up top right now.

His two goals put the game to bed in the first half for the away side and we've seen that he's relishing the task and pressure that is at Oakwell right now.

He scored in the Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday with a fine solo goal and with a brace in another big game where others might have wilted, he duly stood up.

At the moment, then, he's looking the most likely to be the Tykes' saviour this year.
