Coventry City maintained their unbeaten start to the season in magnificent style on Tuesday night, defeating AFC Wimbledon by two goals to one at St. Andrew's.

The Sky Blues currently lead the way in the Sky Bet League One table after an outstanding start to proceedings, with promotion to the second tier well on the radar of Mark Robins' side.

City have won five of their opening nine league outings and are yet to suffer defeat in League One thus far, but they were made to sweat against Wally Downes' men on Tuesday.

Marcus Forss, on loan from Brentford, converted from the spot with only eight minutes on the clock, firing Wimbledon into a 1-0 lead before Jordy Hiwula levelled 20 minutes later.

It looked as if the Sky Blues would have to settle for a point, before Liam Walsh popped up in injury time to secure a terrific 2-1 win - the second time in less than two weeks that Coventry have scored a last-minute winner at St. Andrew's.

Less than a fortnight ago, it was Aston Villa loanee Callum O'Hare who popped up with the winner against Blackpool in a 3-2 victory, and the midfielder has been a hugely impressive player for Robins' team since arriving on loan from Villa Park.

Here, we take a look at how the 21-year-old has got on during his brief loan spell with City so far...

Having already made nine senior appearances for Villa, O'Hare is one of the more highly-rated young players at Villa Park, and he excelled on loan with Carlisle United in League Two last season.

It was a real coup by Mark Robins' to secure his services in the summer, and the midfielder has failed to disappoint since putting pen to paper on a season-long loan deal.

O'Hare has made seven appearances in all competitions for City so far - five of those coming in League One, one coming in the EFL Trophy, and one coming in the Carabao Cup.

On Tuesday night, O'Hare made his first starting appearance in the league for Coventry, playing in a midfield three in a flat 4-3-3 system. His role was to collect the ball and drive forward to create attacks, whilst also being asked to break up play with his tenaciousness and energy in the centre of the park.

The playmaker has completed 149 accurate passes, an average of nearly 21.2 per game and accruing a total success rate of 78.5%.So far this season, he has played 372 minutes of football, scoring two goals which came against Oxford and Blackpool. He is yet to register an assist, but his link-up play has been impressive nonetheless.

He has also hit seven shots on target, which is an average of nearly one per game, so that's an area of the game he would probably like to improve - getting forward and having more chances to score.

Another area of the game he may also be looking to improve on is his dribbling - O'Hare has recorded a dribble success rate of only 48% this season, but his role in midfield is more to do with passing rather than taking players on.

He is starting to look like a really important player for the Sky Blues, though, and will play a big part in their push for promotion this term.
