QPR made it three wins in four games with an emphatic victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Loftus Road last night.

After a very alarming start to the season, that included a 7-1 defeat at West Brom, the R's have picked up and are actually just one point behind the play-offs.

It's a quite remarkable turnaround in such a short space of time and Steve McClaren and his players deserve a lot of credit.

And, one man who has been central to that is summer loan signing Tomer Hemed, who was once again influential last night - as our graphic shows.

The 31-year-old scored the crucial opening goal against the Owls that gave the platform for the R's to go on and win very comfortably in the end.

That was his second goal in as many games and Hemed is quickly establishing himself as a key player in the way McClaren sets up.

Additionally, his overall performance was very impressive too, with the Israeli international having seven attempts at goal.

The midfielders deserve credit for that as it shows they are giving the number nine service, but it also highlights how the on-loan Brighton man is clever in his movement and can find spaces and chances.

Another pleasing aspect for the R's is that the striker is very comfortable on the ball and helps the side link play, with an 82% pass success rate a good return for someone in his position.

After a very slow start, QPR fans can now look forward to the rest of the campaign with hope and optimism and Hemed will be vital if they are to make it a successful one.
