Huddersfield Town are licking their wounds following a heavy, heavy defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Carlos Corberan's side were beaten 5-0, but it's worth noting that a hectic schedule has had a major impact on the Huddersfield.

Christopher Schindler, Richard Stearman and Josh Koroma headline the list of absentees at Huddersfield right now and will be out of action for a period of 2021 too.

The January transfer window offers Huddersfield a chance to rebuild a little, but who should be on their radar?

We pick out SEVEN players we feel they should have an eye on...

This is probably the place to start.

The winger nearly signed from Newcastle in the summer, but a deal wasn't done in time and Huddersfield missed out.

January might well see Town reignite that interest, particularly after Koroma's injury.

The Leeds United forward is someone that Corberan knows well.

Roberts isn't getting much game-time at Elland Road and might be an option for Huddersfield to explore in the winter window.

His versatility in attack could be very useful to this Huddersfield squad.

Given the depth of issues Huddersfield have at centre-back, we look at a defender here.

Casey is on the cusp of Leeds' first-team and might be a good option to take on loan.

He would offer Corberan cover and already has the trust of the head-coach. It could be a good fit.

Smith Rowe was on loan with Huddersfield last season, scoring twice under Danny Cowley.

He'd be a super loan signing again from Arsenal, but whether the Gunners would offload him is another question.

Still, he should be on the radar.

The Scunthorpe United defender is a player that Huddersfield are keen on, as per The Athletic.

Again, given the issues Corberan has in the defence, he could be a fine signing.

The Tottenham winger is hardly knocking on the door of the Spurs first-team (apart from in the Europa League) and could be available for a loan.

Again, there's a Leeds link there with Corberan.

Clarke was exceptional at Elland Road in 2018/19 and could be a great signing for Huddersfield on the wing.

The AFC Wimbledon forward has nine goals and four assists to his name in League One this season.

We know Huddersfield aren't exactly prolific, which is going to be a bigger problem now Koroma is out.

Pigott might be someone in the EFL that Huddersfield cast an eye over.
