The summer transfer window is open for business in England and clubs up and down the country are looking to improve their sides for the 2019/20 campaign.

Certainly, after a cracking year in the game across the EFL there are plenty of players attracting interest and it is clear that a number of big moves could well be on the cards.

Which ones actually happen, though, remains to be seen.

In this period during the off-season rumours are rife and often not that accurate, so all you can do is try to sift through them and determine which might well happen and which might not.

All the same, it's still exciting to think about certain moves coming off and that is what we're doing below with seven of the biggest rumours involving EFL players or teams right now.

Take a look at what we've picked...

Che Adams had a fine season for Birmingham City last year and has caught the eye of many top flight teams.

He brings power and pace to the frontline and would certainly suit the Premier League with those attributes.

Newcastle and Everton have both been tracking the forward - as we told you earlier this week.

Pontus Jansson cut a lonely, dejected figure after Derby turfed Leeds out of the play-offs and since rumours have circulated that he could be off this summer.

Certainly, he'll be wondering whether he's going to get to play at the top level again in his career and though Leeds are one of the early favourites for the title next year, it is something he'll need to consider.

Calciomercato has Benfica as potential suitors though there's every chance he could stay too.

Charlton are back in the Championship but their side could look a lot different to the one that won at Wembley last month.

Joe Aribo is one man that could well be off this summer with the likes of Rangers and Celtic taking a look at him.

Indeed, it's thought the Gers are looking to offer him a bumper deal - as per Football Insider.

Neal Maupay had an excellent year for Brentford but because of their mid-table finish he perhaps wasn't spoken about as much.

However, this past few weeks we have seen speculation grow around him and according to the Sun, Aston Villa are keen.

Meanwhile, the Sheffield Star has Sheffield United as an interested party.

According to the Sun, both Brighton and Aston Villa want to bring in Dack this summer.

The Blackburn man seems destined for the Premier League at some point in his career and this window could provide that step.

Rovers will hope that isn't the case, though.

With Villa up to the Premier League, they are going to get linked with several names and another one comes in the form of Kemar Roofe at Leeds United.

Roofe was excellent last season for the Whites and the Daily Star as Villa as the favourites for the signing.

Finally, another attacker linked with a move to the bright lights of the Premier League.

Ollie Watkins is one of the stars of the Championship and many expect him to make it to the top flight one way or another.

This summer, that could be with Southampton with the Saints among the clubs apparently looking at him according to Sky Sports.
