The 2019-20 Championship season may only be six weeks old, but we have already seen a host of goals as strikers find their feet in the division and look to fire their side into the promotion mix come May next year.

But who amongst the players in the division is failing to time that run to perfection? Here we highlight the seven most offside Championship players so far this season utilising WhoScored's stats........

Hull City striker Tom Eaves arrived in the summer from Gillingham after an impressive season with the League One outfit.

But so far this season he is yet to get on the score-sheet in six Championship appearances and has clocked up on average 0.8 off-sides per game.

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has been installed as Marcelo Bielsa's first choice striker this season, following Kemar Roofe's departure in the summer.

The 26-year-old has had a good return of four goals and one assist in seven Championship appearances, but has also clocked up on average 1.0 off-sides per game.

Birmingham City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz is enjoying life under manager Pep Clotet at the Blues with three goals already in seven Championship appearances.

But the much traveled 30-year-old striker has also managed to be caught offside on average 1.0 occasions per game.

Next up is another Birmingham City striker in Álvaro Giménez, who has managed a single goal in five Championship appearances so far this season, having joined the Blues in the summer.

But the 28-year-old Spaniard has managed to clock up on average 1.0 off sides per match so far this season.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Steven Fletcher is enjoying a solid start to the season at the Owls, chipping in with four goals and one assist in seven Championship starts.

But the 32-year-old Scottish international has also been caught offside on average 1.1 occasions per game.

Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga is playing well under new manager Jonathan Woodgate, with the 26-year-old contributing three goals in seven Championship appearances so far this season.

But the Congolese international has also been caught offside on average 1.3 times per match.

Nottingham Forest striker Lewis Grabban is having a good season so far under manager Sabri Lamouchi contributing four goals and one assist in seven Championship appearances so far this season.

But the 31-year-old tops our list having been caught offside on average 1.7 times per match.
