Ipswich Town will be looking to move forward as a club later this year after showing some real glimpses of promise since opting to appoint Kieran McKenna as their head coach.

Although the Blues were unable to secure a place in the play-offs during the 2021/22 campaign, they did manage to amass a respectable total of 41 points in the 23 games that were overseen by McKenna.

In order to become legitimate contenders for automatic promotion in the third-tier next season, Ipswich will need to nail their transfer recruitment in the upcoming window.

As well as trying to secure the services of some classy operators, McKenna will also need to make decisions regarding the futures of some of the existing members of Ipswich's squad who are facing uncertain futures at Portman Road.

Here, we have decided to take a look at seven Ipswich transfers dealings we could see happen as soon as next month.

Check them out now!

Vaclav Hladky would have been hoping to become Ipswich's first-choice shot-stopper after joining the club last year.

However, due to the presence of Christian Walton, the 31-year-old only made 12 appearances in the third-tier.

Recently linked with a move to Aberdeen, it wouldn't be at all surprising if Hladky is sold by Ipswich this summer as he was relatively poor in the games that he did feature in at this level.

In fact, only Louie Barry (6.14) averaged a lower WhoScored match rating than Hladky (6.28) for the Blues in League One.

After returning to Ipswich earlier this year following a stint at Swindon in which he managed to provide 14 direct goal contributions for the League Two side in all competitions, Tyreece Simpson failed to make an appearance in the third-tier during the second half of the season.

Having recently told the Blues that he will leave Portman Road when his contract expires next month, the forward could seal a move to a new club in the not-too-distant future.

Kayden Jackson's current deal is set to reach a crescendo in June and Ipswich have yet to make a decision regarding his future.

Following the turn of the year, the forward stepped up to the mark for the Blues by learning from McKenna as he managed to score three goals and provide three assists in the third-tier before suffering an injury setback.

If McKenna believes that Jackson will be able to deliver the goods on a consistent basis next season, he may decide to extend his stay past the summer.

Myles Kenlock was not included in Ipswich's squad for their League One fixtures during the first half of the 2021/22 campaign and was sent out on loan by the club to Colchester United in January.

Set to return to the Blues later this month, Kenlock is facing an uncertain future as his current contract expires in June.

Unless McKenna is willing to give the defender another chance to prove his worth at Ipswich, Kenlock could be allowed to move on to pastures new this summer.

Armando Dobra made three appearances for Ipswich before being sent out on loan to Colchester during the previous summer transfer window.

The winger only managed to show glimpses of his talent during his time with the U's as he provided two direct goal contributions in 11 league games.

When you consider that Dobra hasn't really pushed on at Ipswich since making his debut, the club may find it beneficial to cash him on this summer as he is set to enter the final year of his contract.

Rekeem Harper would have been hoping to become a key player for Ipswich after joining the club for an undisclosed fee from West Bromwich Albion last year.

However, the midfielder only managed to record a WhoScored match rating of 6.34 in the 13 league games that he played for the Blues in the first half of the season and was eventually loaned out to Crewe Alexandra in January.

McKenna may opt to cut ties with Harper this summer if he doesn't believe that the midfielder will be able to turn things around at Ipswich.

After falling out of favour at Bristol City, Tyreeq Bakinson joined the Blues on a temporary basis in January and went on to score two goals for the club in 17 league appearances.

This particular loan deal included an option for Ipswich to buy Bakinson.

When you consider that McKenna recently admitted that he will be looking to hold talks with the midfielder over the possibility of him joining the club on a permanent deal, it wouldn't be at all surprising if a deal is completed in the not-too-distant future.
