7-goal forward starts: The West Brom XI we expect to see against Nottingham Forest tomorrow

Arguably the biggest game in the Championship tomorrow comes at The Hawthorns as West Brom host Nottingham Forest.

The Baggies currently lead the way in the second-tier and hold a six-point lead over the chasing back, with Sabri Lamouchi’s sitting fifth and eight points behind Albion.

Therefore, the outcome could have a huge impact on the race for promotion and Slaven Bilic will have faith in his team on their own patch.

West Brom go into the game on the back of a three-game winning streak and here we look at the XI the Croatian should go with…

Given things have been going extremely well, Bilic would want to keep changes to a minimum and with no fresh injury worries he should be able to go with the same team.

That means Sam Johnstone, as always continues in goal, with Kyle Bartley and Semi Ajayi at the heart of the back four.

One potential change the boss could consider is bringing Kieran Gibbs in for Conor Townsend, however it would be harsh on the former Scunthorpe man who has done well recently. Plus, Bilic has stressed he doesn’t want to rush Gibbs back given his issues in the past.

On the opposite flank, the in form Dara O’Shea will continue at right-back and has added a solidity to the defence in recent weeks.

Skipper Jake Livermore was outstanding in the week and he will resume his effective partnership with Romaine Sawyers in the middle, with Filip Krovinovic just in front of the two.

Either side of the on-loan Benfica man, Albion have matchwinners, with Matheus Pereira starting on the right but he will drift in and could also rotate with Krovinovic throughout.

QUIZ: Can you name the season in which these 14 West Brom images were taken?

What season did Igor Balis score this crucial penalty?

Down the left, the quick Callum Robinson will give the hosts a direct threat and he has made a real difference since joining from Sheffield United.

Despite a host of options up top, 7-goal forward Hal Robson-Kanu deserves to keep his place and even when he doesn’t score he offers so much to the team with his hard work and link-up play.
