We are entering the Sky Bet Championship run-in, with Derby County still well in the hunt for promotion.

There are nine fixtures of the Championship season remaining, with Gary Rowett’s side sitting fifth in the division and looking to strengthen their grip on a place in the top-six in the coming weeks.

The Rams find themselves on a disappointing run of form, having failed to record a victory since early February, which has dented their automatic promotion hopes.

However, a play-off berth is still looking likely for Derby, which will give them the opportunity to compete for a Premier League return towards the business end of the season.

Whatever division Derby find themselves in next season, Rowett is likely to turn to the transfer window to strengthen his squad and add freshness to his current group.

Here at FLW, we identify THREE players who would be perfect for the Rams…

What a talent Bryan is, with the left-back perhaps the standout player in his position in the Championship.

Bryan has been key to helping Bristol City into top-six contention, and in time, is almost certain to be testing himself in the top-fight.

A move for Bryan in the summer makes sense for Derby, whether they find themselves in the Championship or Premier League.

Curtis Davies and Richard Keogh have been magnificent this season, but the duo are coming towards the end of their careers.

Rowett is likely to be looking for another centre-back in the summer, with Bartley one of the standout options around.

His last spell in the Championship with Leeds United was impressive, and this year, he is part of Swansea’s Premier League squad.

The 26-year-old could be another good addition either in the Championship or the top-flight.

Mitrovic is currently spearheading Fulham’s promotion push in the Championship, with the on-loan forward scoring seven goals since his arrival at Craven Cottage.

The Serbian has experience in the Premier League and Championship, and with his relationship with Rafa Benitez not the best at St James’ Park, a move in the summer is a possibility.

Rowett could offer Mitrovic a leading role at the Pride Park Stadium.
