Denmark secured a vital point against Australia yesterday which put them in a very strong position to qualify for the last 16 in Russia.

That would be a great achievement for the Danes considering they are in a tough group that contains France.

Even though they got a decent result yesterday, they didn't have it all their own way, with the Aussies causing a lot of problems.

However, one man who did stand out for the European side was right-back Henri Dalsgaard, who plays in the Championship for Brentford.

As our graphic shows, he was a strong performer down the flank for the Danes and stepped up when required to do his defensive duties, which increased as the game went on.

He made three interceptions, won four tackles and made seven clearances as the Socceroos dominated large periods of the game.

Yet, his influence wasn't restricted to just is defensive work. Dalsgaard was a regular outlet for Denmark down the right flank, showing great energy to get up and down all game.

As well as that, he was useful on the ball, evident by his 72.5% pass success rate, whilst his one key pass is a decent return from a full-back in a game.

That was the second 90 minutes he has played at this World Cup and he has shown how he could be an unsung hero for his country as they look to advance from their group.
