Bristol City are finishing a disappointing Championship season with a flourish – highlighting that the future could well be bright in Bs3.

Nigel Pearson's side have taken 10 points from their last four games and put five past Hull City on the weekend.

They're still set for a lower mid-table finish but heading into the summer with some momentum could be massive ahead given the work that needs to be done off the pitch.

Pearson will no doubt want to use the upcoming window to continue to shape his squad but has warned there isn't likely to be much money to spend.

That won't mean there's no movement at all, however, and one big sale could provide the funds needed to strengthen significantly while it may be a case of the Robins having to be very smart with their money.

We're highlighting seven City transfer dealings that we could see happen as soon as next month...

One of three young players that the club could cash in on this summer, Han-Noah Massengo is set to enter the final year of his contract and is yet to agree fresh terms despite an offer being on the table since January.

The Robins have been burned before by players running down their contracts so may feel it's best for them to sell if offers come in from elsewhere.

Lyon, Southampton, and Norwich City are reportedly all interested so things could move quickly.

Kasey Palmer's City career looks to be done and it would be no surprise to see the club look to offload him early in the summer.

Birmingham City are said to be keen (The Sunday People ((24/04) via Birmingham Live)) and the club will not want to miss out on capitalising on that interest.

Palmer is one of the highest earners at the club at £20,000-a-week (Salary Sport) so his exit would help free up some space on the wage bill.

Tommy Conway has been on the fringe of the senior squad this season and impressed for the U23s but his path to regular first team football appears blocked right now.

Assuming Antoine Semenyo stays put, it's hard to see him getting the minutes he needs with the Robins next term and a loan move would make a lot of sense.

City could look to get that wrapped up quickly so he can have pre-season at his new club.

Alex Scott's eye-catching breakthrough season has drawn links to Premier League clubs, with West Ham and Everton among the sides reportedly keen.

The 18-year-old signed a long-term deal at Ashton Gate back in August so it's not going to be cheap to prize him away.

But given their financial issues recently, a sizeable offer may see them decide to cash in and doing it early in the summer would allow them to reinvest some of the cash.

Right-back is a problem issue for the Robins, who should have George Tanner back fit next term.

The 22-year-old is an impressive prospect but not the finished article so it would make sense for City to bolster in that area.

Forest Green Rovers' defender Kane Wilson is said to be a target (Bristol World) and is out of contract this summer so it's a move that could happen early on, with other clubs likely to be interested as well.

One part of City's WSM front three that's combined for more than 40 goals this season, Antoine Semenyo is attracting attention from clubs ahead of the summer.

West Ham United and Crystal Palace are two of nine clubs understood to be interested (Bristol Post).

We know the Robins are a selling club and it may be that should good offer come in they decide it's time to cash in on Semenyo.

Shoring things up defensively could help City rise up the table next season as only three Championship clubs have scored more than them this term while only two have conceded more.

Oxford United centre-back Elliot Moore is a player they could look to in order to help them strengthen at the back.

Pearson has reportedly watched Moore this term (Bristol World) and it may be that the Robins move quickly for him when the window opens.
