It's safe to say that London clubs West Ham and Fulham have had differing campaigns so far in the Premier League and Championship respectively.

Indeed, we're at a point now where anything could happen to both sides. They could meet in the top flight, second tier, switch leagues or stay as they are but the first option is obviously most preferred.

If Fulham don't make it and West Ham stay up, though, a raid from the East Londoners on the side from across the city would be a more than sound idea, with Ryan Fredericks - our latest FLW Spotlight subject - perfect for them:

It's pretty clear that West Ham have got an ageing side that is on the brink of relegation and, survival or not this season, they need to clear much of the deadwood and bring in some younger, hungry players to rejuvenate things.

Fredericks, arguably, is one of the best right-backs in the division with the way he bursts forwards at speed and that is something that the likes of Pablo Zabaleta, despite his fantastic career, can no longer offer.

The Hammers' defence really needs a rebuild. It needs staunch centre-halves and flying full-backs that can stay fit - Aaron Cresswell and Sam Byram are just too injury prone right now.

Fredericks, then, ticks many boxes. He's solid in defence, contributes well going forwards and is a very robust player so the Hammers need to think about him seriously.
