Having secured a remarkable promotion to the Premier League, Neil Warnock will now be working on how he will keep Cardiff City in the top-flight.

The experienced boss has built a strong squad that has a real togetherness and determination, however, they will need new faces to compete next season.

Whilst there are several positions the manager will like to strengthen, he knows the importance of bringing in a goalscorer and he will also want more Premier League know-how to add to his team who have few top-flight games between them.

One man who would help in both those aspects is Stoke City's Peter Crouch.

The 37-year old was part of the Potters squad that was relegated but may fancy one last go in the top-flight and he could be ideal for the Bluebirds.

As we know, Cardiff are a very direct side and he would be a major asset with his height, whether it's from long-throws, free-kicks or just general play.

Our graphic highlights his aerial prowess, with the former Spurs striker winning 7.8 aerial duels per game on average even if his playing time has been limited.

Additionally, whilst he isn't the most prolific now, Crouch still chips in with goals and he managed to net five this season even as a bit-part player.

Ultimately, the former England international could be an extremely useful player on and off the pitch for Warnock and Cardiff in their quest for survival.
