Nottingham Forest need to find some consistency sooner rather than later to avoid dropping too close towards the relegation zone in the Championship.

Whilst the Reds look relatively safe at the moment they can’t afford to be complacent for the rest of this season and Aitor Karanka will hope his new signings can perform accordingly.

One man who also seems to be set to feature a lot under Karanka is Ben Brereton, with him getting more of a chance this season now compared to the earlier months under Mark Warburton.

He’s been doing a pretty good job, too, and so we think it’s time that he was the subject of our latest FLW Price Tags feature:

According to transfermarkt, the forward is worth £2.25m to Forest at the moment but here at Football League World we think he’d command a bigger fee than that.

When you see Brereton perform up top, it’s easy to forget that he is still actually a teenager that needs to learn the ropes.

He leads the line like someone ten years his senior and with the large scope for him to get even better, we think he is worth at the very least £10m

In the modern market it’s hard to exactly put an accurate price on players with inflated fees and we’ve got to remember that Brereton isn’t guaranteed to make it big – though it’s likely.

£10m seems a far more accurate valuation of where he’s at at the moment, and it’s surely bound to improve too.
