Tick tock, tick tock. The clock is running down, the minutes ebbing away and very soon, the transfer window will slam shut on English football.

The time for speculation, second guessing and false rumour is over. It is now or never for clubs as they finalise their permanent playing squads through until Christmas.

Leeds United fans could be forgiven for thinking they need very little after the weekend's result, but there's no doubt Bielsa would like to bring in some more players, possibly a right back and a centre back.

They didn't look susceptible at the back and Liam Cooper made his mark at both ends of the field, but those two positions are ones in which the new manager would like to strengthen.

Despite having Kemar Roofe on form and Patrick Bamford on the bench, there's also still a desire for additional fire power up front too.

With that in mind, here are two players FLW think Leeds United should bring in before the transfer deadline.

The 19-year old has represented England at various youth levels and is very highly-rated by Pep Guardiola, but first-team opportunities are few and far between at the Etihad.

He has been linked with a move and although it would be a loan, getting him in sooner rather than later would help the cause. they've got until the end of August to secure this switch, but why wait?

Elphick is experienced, has won promotion from this division before and could easily slot in the Leeds back line when required.

Crucially, he's not adverse to being out of the team either and will produce competition for places but without spitting his dummy out if he's the odd man out.

He played in just eight Championship games last season and that in itself is criminal, given his experience. He would be a big asset to the current Leeds United squad and he wouldn't cost the earth either.
