Leeds United’s goalkeeping troubles this season have been well documented, with Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan far from convincing during their respective spells in the starting XI.

The senior duo that Heckingbottom has available to him have been cast aside, with faith placed in Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Leeds 21-year-old goalkeeper who has just three senior appearances under his belt.

Whilst Peacock-Farrell has done well so far under Paul Heckingbottom, the likelihood is that Leeds might well look elsewhere in the summer for a senior option to boost their promotion hopes for the 2018/19 campaign.

Here at FLW, we believe that one goalkeeper who could be perfect for the Whites is Daniel Bentley, who is the feature of our latest spotlight:

The Brentford goalkeeper has made 37 appearances so far this season, conceding 45 goals.

Bentley has kept 12 clean sheets in those 37 appearances, giving the goalkeeper a clean sheet percentage of 32.4.

Excellent distribution is becoming something that clubs look for in a goalkeeper, with the 24-year-old’s numbers in this area also impressive.

Bentley averages 32.8 passes per game, which come at a success rate of 69%.
