There was a hugely entertaining clash in the Sky Bet Championship last night, as Sheffield United missed out on an opportunity to move back to the top of the table, losing 5-4 to Fulham at Bramall Lane.

Plenty of attacking players thrived last night, with Leon Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon grabbing hat-tricks and Sheyi Ojo scoring a brace for Fulham.

Here at FLW, we look at a combined XI from last night’s fixture, using a 4-3-3 formation.

It was not a great night for goalkeepers or defenders with a total of nine goals shipped, but Jamal Blackman is deserving of a place in our combined XI, with the Sheffield United goalkeeper pulling off a couple of crucial saves.

There were some tough picks in defence, but Fulham’s Ryan Fredericks and Denis Odoi are in at full-back, with Tomas Kalas joined by the Blades’ Jack O’Connell in central defence.

Kevin McDonald and Tom Cairney were particularly impressive in Fulham’s midfield, and they are fully deserving of a place in this team, alongside £675k-rated John Fleck, who despite finding himself on the losing side, put in a good display for Chris Wilder’s Blades.

Slavisa Jokanovic will have been left purring over the performance of Sessegnon and Ojo in attack, and they are joined by Sheffield United’s goalscoring machine, Leon Clarke, with the attacking trio picking themselves in this XI.
