There's another big game down at the bottom of the Championship taking place tonight as Hull City host Barnsley at the KCOM Stadium.

Over the last round of fixtures we saw both clubs pick up three points as the Tigers beat Sheffield United on Friday night and the Tykes took the spoils from their game at St. Andrew's with Birmingham City.

For sure, then, there's plenty riding on this one tonight and it should prove to be a fairly close run thing because of that.

With that in mind, then, we thought we'd have a stab at who'd get into a combined side between the two relegation battlers, with it proving fairly even to start with at least.

Let's take a look, then, at who we think would get in...

Allan McGregor is a decent goalkeeper and very experienced so we'd put him in this side for sure.

Andy Yiadom is one of the better right backs around and would surely get into this combined side.

Michael Dawson isn't the player he was but is still a reliable man to have at centre-half so he belongs in this team.

Liam Lindsay is a good young defender and should only get better so we're putting him in this line-up - Michael Hector is therefore missing out.

With Yiadom in the team we're putting Ola Aina at left-back. He's a good young star for the Tigers and deserves to be found room.

Into midfield we've got Barnsley's Joe Williams. On loan from Everton, he's been almost ever present this season for the Tykes.

Alongside Williams is Hull's Jackson Irvine.

He's scored a couple of goals and managed three assists this year and would be a top player to have in the centre.

Kamil Grosicki is a class act.

The Tigers winger has got plenty of tricks and attacking ability so would be one of the stars of this side.

Another key man for this team would be £675k-rated Jarrod Bowen.

He's been brilliant this year and must be attracting the interest of a number of clubs for the summer.

Oli McBurnie has been a superb signing so far for the Tykes.

There's a good chance he could fire them to safety.

Abel Hernandez has been injured of late but is nearing fitness now and would be the main striker for this side.

Certainly, it's a team with good attacking options.
