Aiden McGeady’s future at Sunderland remains uncertain heading into the summer, leaving the door open for Charlton Athletic to come in and sign the winger permanently.
The 34-year-old left the Stadium of Light in January after falling out of favour under Phil Parkinson, and subsequently joined Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
McGeady has since made seven appearances for the Addicks with six of those coming from the off, and he’s yet to score a goal or register a single assist.
McGeady is likely to be available for a cut-price this summer, so would Charlton fans like to sign him permanently?
That’s what AddicksHQ asked fans to vote on this afternoon, and 67% voted ‘no’.
