Marcelo Bielsa faces arguably his biggest test as Leeds United manager when he takes his side to London to face Millwall at the Den.

It is not the biggest test in terms of opposition, but more in terms of his managerial nouse.

Going into the match marquee summer signing Patrick Bamford picked up a cruciate ligament injury and has subsequently been ruled out for four months. A big blow to Leeds.

Then, yesterday, at the Argentinian's pre-match press conference he dropped another bombshell on the fans. Kemar Roofe will also be missing the Millwall match.

This is not the news the Elland Road faithful will have wanted to hear after such a brilliant start to the season.

Bielsa has been known in the past to enjoy working with as small a squad as possible. It is how he gets his best results.

But after these two injuries, are the flaws in this plan beginning to be exposed?

That was the question we put to Leeds fans...

An emphatic 63% agreed that it did show the flaws in Bielsa's mentality. The injuries mean that the inexperienced Tyler Roberts will have to start against Millwall.

The verdict

I suppose we won't know if it has exposed his flaws until the injuries damage their results.

It could be the case that Roberts starts and plays brilliantly. Suddenly nobody is concerned about Bamford and Roofe and Bielsa is back to being the best thing since sliced bread.
