Queens Park Rangers striker Aradmide Oteh this week committed his future to the London club.

The 19-year-old’s deal was due to expire next summer, but he has now penned a new three-year contract with the Championship side.

His stay is extended now until the summer of 2021, but Oteh is yet to feature this season for Steve McClaren, but he is determined to force his way into the first team.

That looks more difficult than first thought with the arrivals of Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells on loan forcing the young striker down the pecking order at Loftus Road.

Oteh has made six appearances for QPR, all coming last season, scoring his first senior goal in the 3-1 win over Burton Albion in January.

With that said, here at FLW, we asked Queens Park Rangers supporters if they believe Oteh will have a flourishing career at Loftus Road.

In a somewhat surprising result, after seeing the youngster play just six games for their club, plenty of QPR fans polled feel the striker won’t have much of a career at Loftus Road.

A majority of 60 per cent feel the 19-year-old will fall short of exceptions at the club despite signing a new three-year deal; this could be down to the current forward parking of Hemed and Wells ahead of him in the queue.

On the other hand, 40 per cent still have faith in Oteh that he will produce what the club feels he is capable of and push into the first team and have a solid career at Loftus Road.
