Leeds United have announced that Liam Cooper will remain at the club's training ground over the international break as he recovers from injury.
Cooper was substituted late on into Leeds' win over Blackburn Rovers at the weekend, with scans later revealing that the club's captain had suffered a small tear in his groin.
The 28-year-old has previously had a similar injury earlier in this year's campaign, and he'll be hoping to return to action at the earliest of opportunities to play his part in Leeds' promotion bid this term.
But this injury will see Cooper miss the upcoming Scotland fixtures, which many Leeds fans will surely see as a blessing in disguise as it'll prevent further injury to the defender.
The Elland Road faithful and Marcelo Bielsa will be keen to see their captain return to the first team picture as soon as possible, with Leeds next in action against Luton Town after the international break.
Plenty of Leeds supporters took to social media to react to this latest update on Cooper's injury.
