It's safe to say that Reading have had their fair share of signings that simply haven't cut it at the Madejski Stadium in recent years.
The Royals are currently playing their football in the Championship, and they're looking as though they're in a good position to finish this year's campaign strongly under the guidance of Mark Bowen.

Some Reading fans might not even remember who Wieser was.
The midfielder signed for the Royals in the summer of 2016, but failed to make a senior appearance for the club.
His most notable contribution was when he was sent-off in an Under-23s game for the Berkshire-based side and he left the club in 2018.
It was an odd signing in the first place, and he didn't make a notable impact in his time with the club.
Knight only made two appearances for Reading when he arrived back in March 2015, and it didn't come as a surprise to see him leave the club when his short-term contract expired.
Williams spent three years with Reading after arriving in 2011 after a successful trial with the club.
However, he failed to make a single appearance for the Royals first-team, before moving on in the summer of 2013.
Williams is now playing his football with Weymouth.
The forward was signed by Brian McDermott back in 2011, but hardly had a chance in the first-team.
Baseya didn't make a single appearance for the Royals first-team, and had a loan spell with Barnet before leaving the Madejski Stadium in the summer of 2012.
The winger arrived with raving reviews to his name, but he failed to adjust to the physical demands of English football.
Hurtado only made six appearances for Reading and is now playing his football with Turkish side Konyaspor.
This is definitely up there as one of the most bizarre signings that Reading have ever made.
Carrico arrived from Portuguese giants Sporting CP, but only went on to make three appearances for the Berkshire-based side in his time with the club.
However, the Spaniard left Reading in the summer of 2013 in favour of a move to Spanish side Sevilla. Carrico went on to play his part in the Sevilla squad that won the Europa League three years in a row.
He is certainly a player that has talent, but for one reason or another, he didn't discover it with Reading.
