Luton Town have had their fair share of players over recent years, with some tending to do better than others.

The Hatters will have had their success stories that everyone at the club would be proud of, while they will also have seen players join the club with high expectations and to then depart after struggling at Kenilworth Road.

Here, we take a look at six Luton players that have struggled to perform for the Hatters across the years...

The experienced goalkeeper signed for Luton in 2010 and having performed well at Notts County in the years before, he struggled to replicate that form for the Hatters.

He made just 29 appearances across two seasons as he had to settle as backup at Kenilworth Road, before he left again to rejoin Notts County.

The midfielder had a promising career before joining Luton in January 2012, where his career seemed to stagnate slightly.

Boucard made only seven appearances across seven months, falling out of favour with Paul Buckle and moving onto Notts County.

Mawson has gone on to have a great career since his Luton days, but his time with the Hatters didn't go to plan.

The centre-back joined on loan from Brentford in the 2013-2014 season and made just the one appearance as he picked up an injury and was unable to complete his loan at Kenilworth Road.

The former Luton striker signed for the club in 2014, and despite having a successful loan spell with Dover Athletic during the season, he made just the 15 appearances across the season.

Miller netted two goals for the Hatters, but his time at Kenilworth Road was far from pleasant as he mainly watched from the bench or the stands.

The young left-back joined Luton in 2016 from Huddersfield Town, but struggled to set the world alight with his performances in a Hatters shirt.

He made 24 appearances across three seasons as he became a fringe player at Kenilworth Road, and was eventually released in 2019.

The striker joined Luton in 2017 as a promising youngster from Basingstoke Town, but his professional career failed to take off in his two years at Luton.

Jarvis made 14 appearances and scored two goals across two seasons before being released last summer and sinking back into the non-league circuit.
