Much of Millwall’s success this term has been thanks to the form that has been displayed by 25-year-old winger Jed Wallace, with the former Portsmouth man having really stepped up his game this term under both Neil Harris and Gary Rowett.
The wide man has already racked up seven goals and four assists in his first 17 Championship outings for the Lions, thus underlining his importance to the south Londoners.
Given the level of consistency that Wallace has maintained this term, it is perhaps unsurprising that the wide man is attracting interest from afar, with the Express (1 December, page 65) reporting that Premier League Aston Villa are said to be eyeing a move for the winger in the January transfer window.
Dean Smith is said to be a big fan of the ex-Wolves man and see’s the 25-year-old as the perfect candidate to supplement his attacking options.
