Norwich City might have underachieved this season, but their star players certainly have not.

James Maddison is set for a big summer move to the top-flight and he could well be followed out of the door by explosive winger Josh Murphy.

West Ham were one of the sides linked with Maddison earlier in the season, but since the likes of Liverpool have entered the race he looks unlikely to move to East London.

That doesn't mean they won't raid Norwich though, perhaps Josh Murphy is the sort of creative influence they need to help sustain themselves as a Premier League club? After all, twin brother Jacob has settled nicely at Newcastle.

FLW shines a spotlight on the twin left behind at Norwich and ask, is he a good fit for West Ham?

Murphy might be the twin left behind after brother Jacob secured his top-flight move, but his form this season has proven that he is also ready for a fresh challenge. In a dismal season for the Canaries, he's been a beacon of hope, overshadowed by James Maddison but contributing towards the ultimately futile top six assault.

murphy has played 39 league matches for Norwich this season, a fine number for a 23-year old. He's established at Norwich and surely shown his stamina and fitness over the season.

He's weighed in with goals, six of them, not a bad return for a wide player primarily looking at providing the bullets.

There might be an argument that his assist tally is low on two, but when you add that to key passes, you get 29 in total. It doesn't quite equate to a key pass every game, but it shows a player far more involved in positive forward moves than an assists tally of two suggests.

Murphy's stats just scream potential, whether it's the 2.7 shots a game that demonstrate a willingness to shoot, or the two average dribbles per match. He's clearly a player who wants to get on the ball and make things happen.

Surrounded by better players and facilities there's no doubt Josh Murphy can eclipse the success of brother Jacob and West Ham would be wise to put him atop their summer shopping list.
