One of Queens Park Rangers key performers this term has been 21-year-old attacker Eberechi Eze, with the versatile forward having really started to come of age this term after being moved to a more advanced role by Mark Warburton.

Eze has found the net an impressive seven times in his opening 19 Championship outings, whilst the creative player has also laid on four assists for his teammates.

Given the levels of quality and consistency that the youngster has displayed, it is perhaps unsurprising that clubs from afar are making admiring glances at the 21-year-old.

The Sun have reported that Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur have closely watching the forward with a view to making a move for his services in January.

The loss of Eze would in theory have a huge effect on QPR's play-off credentials this term, with his performances having allowed them to keep touch with their direct rivals for so long.

Here, we take a look at SIX replacements for Eze that QPR should consider bringing in if they lose their talisman....

Sinclair is an option that the R's would be silly to not consider as a replacement for Eze, despite his age, the experienced wide man would add a plethora of creative and goal scoring qualities to Warburton's side.

The 30-year-old wide man has netted an impressive 24 goals in over 80 Championship appearances.

Another player which QPR may be able to snare is 22-year-old Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts, with the former Fulham man having struggled for game time at Premier League Norwich City, City could be keen to recall the youngster before loaning him out to a club who can afford him more game time.

Roberts would represent a solid signing for the R's, with the young attacker having plied his trade in Europe for Celtic in more recent times, whilst also experiencing Spanish football with Girona.

Maddison is a player who needs no introduction to fans of club's in League One, with the mercurial Peterborough United man having terrorised defences in the third division for many a year, a move to the Championship seems the most likely step for the 26-year-old.

With nine goals and six assists to his name, Maddison's arrival would certainly provide an adequate replacement for Eze.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee has struggled for regular game time at Leeds United this season and Jose Mourinho may feel that another temporary move closer to home would be beneficial for the winger, particularly with Mark Warburton having a good track record for developing young players.

Clarke would bring pace and good crossing ability from wide areas, thus providing good service for Messrs Nahki Wells and Jordan Hugill.

Another Premier League talent who could be of interest to QPR is Emile Smith Rowe, with the 19-year-old having found game time limited at Arsenal since returning from his loan spell at RB Leipzig, a move to the Championship side could be seen as beneficial for the youngster's overall development.

Smith Rowe has scored an impressive three goals in nine first team games for the Gunners despite still being below the age of 20.

The 24-year-old winger has been in fine from for Oxford since moving to the League One club after his release from Charlton Athletic, netting seven goals and registering one assist so far.

Given the relatively low cost involved in the move for Fosu and his solid form, the U's could well be tempted to cash in if QPR came calling during the January window, with the former Reading man sure to want to prove he can cut it at Championship level once more.
