Charlton Athletic are looking to get back into the Championship this season and have had a good campaign so far, certainly looking in the mix at the sharp end.

Indeed, the Addicks' support will be hoping to get back to the Valley as soon as they can with restrictions coming back into play in London, and there may be a few famous faces looking to join them in SE7 if and when the opportunity arises.

With that said, here are six famous faces that support the men in red and white...

Kelly Holmes is best known for being a double Olympic champion from the Athens 2004 games, but she is also a Charlton fan.

Indeed, she was presented with a Charlton shirt back in 04 after the games at The Valley, with 'Holmes 2' printed on the back.

Steve Davis is a six-time world snooker champion and one of the greatest to ever pick up a cue.

A crucible king in the 80s, he also has a keen interest in football.

He supports Charlton but has also been on the board at Leyton Orient working with his former manager Barry Hearn at the time.

Bjorn Borg is one of tennis' greatest names and a firm favourite in this country for his performances at Wimbledon.

However, it's south-east London rather than south-west that has earned his football allegiances, with him a member of a Charlton supporting family that dates back to an Addicks' tour of Sweden in the 1930s.

Jim Davidson is a presenter and comedian and one of the most obvious Charlton supporters out there.

The Addicks fan grew up in near-by Kidbrooke and has often been seen at games over the years, clad in a red Charlton kit.

Sue Perkins of Mel and Sue fame and also a former Great British Bake-off presenter is another Addicks fan.

She confirmed as such on Twitter a few years ago labelling the club 'the spiritual home of disappointment' - the kind of self-deprecation any football fan is likely familiar with.

Alan White was Oasis' drummer at their height between 1994 and 2005.

Unlike the Gallagher brothers, however, White was from Lewisham and supports Charlton rather than growing up in Manchester and supporting City.

Since leaving Oasis he has led a rather private life, pursuing other interests.
