November was quite simply, an excellent month for Blackburn Rovers.

With three wins and two draws, Tony Mowbray's side came through the month unbeaten, with that 3-0 thumping of local rivals Preston at Deepdale a clear highpoint.

As a result, supporters of the Lancashire club will once again be dreaming of a push for a Championship play-off places, and maybe beyond this season.

Among those fans who will be hoping for such success for Blackburn, are plenty of famous faces, and here, we've taken a look of six of Rovers' best known fans.

With four World Superbike championships to his name, Carl Fogarty is something of a legend in the sporting world.

He also won the 2014 series of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, and having been born in Blackburn, is reportedly a fan of his hometown club.

Another well known supporter of the Lancashire club, is actor Matt Smith, who is best known for appearing in shows such as Doctor Who and The Crown.

Smith was on the books of the likes of Nottingham Forest and Leicester as a youngster, but while injury prevented him from enjoying a football career, he remains a vocal Rovers backer.

Sticking with the television theme, comedian Lee Mack is also a follower of Tony Mowbray's Blue and White Army.

The Would I Lie To You team captain, who has also appeared on the likes of Have I Got News For You and Never Mind The Buzzcocks as well as writing and starring in Not Going Out, has previously spoken of his support for Rovers during his appearances on panel shows.

Having been Blackburn's MP for 36 years between 1979 and 2015, it is probably no surprise that Jack Straw is a Rovers supporter.

Straw, who served in the cabinets of both Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, has previously spoken of his backing for Rovers in the media, and was made an honorary vice-president of the club by then owner Jack Walker in 1998.

Another Blackburn supporter with links to the Houses of Parliament, is former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron.

Despite being born in Preston, Farron is known for his support of Rovers, and has been known to give thoughts on the club's results on Twitter on occasion.

One famous fan who is undoubtedly a familiar face to Rovers fans, is centre back Phil Jones.

The defender started his career with his boyhood club, playing 40 games for Blackburn before making a big money move to Manchester United, where he has gone on to win several trophies and 27 England caps, although a loss of form means game time is far from regular for the 28-year-old these days.
