Derby County manager Frank Lampard was sent-off during the weekend’s defeat to Rotherham United.

Lampard has been charged with improper conduct after he was sent to the stands for arguing with the officials in the 77th minute at the New York Stadium.

Lampard continued to protest to the officials after the sending off of Tom Lawrence.

Derby sit seventh in the Championship after four wins and three defeats in their opening seven games of the campaign.

It is, of course, Lampard’s debut season at the helm at Pride Park.

So we here at FLW took to Twitter to ask Derby County supporters if they thought Frank Lampard was starting to feel the pressure after his weekend dismissal.

A considerable number of Rams fans were in agreement that the fledgeling manager is starting to feel the pressure of the job after his outburst and subsequence removal from the technical area.

It was a majority of 58% that felt their club’s manager is getting a little hot under the collar in his position as first-team boss.

Conversely, 42% of the fans who voted disagreed that his outburst was due to the pressure getting to the former midfielder.

They are of the opinion that it was an isolated incident because of the way in which Lawrence was sent-off in the defeat.

Time will tell ultimately if the pressure does indeed get to Lampard, but for now, it has been a pretty decent start to management for the former England international.
