Leeds United have made an almost perfect start the new season, currently sitting top of the division.

Marcelo Bielsa has made ten new signings this summer, six permanent and four on loan.

The transfer window is now closed, but free agents are still able to move without restriction to EFL clubs up and down the country.

Despite the incredible start, Leeds have been afforded; there is always the want or the need to bring in an extra player for cover, or if there is a standout individual in the unattached market.

6ft attacker Bakary Sako is one such player, who is still looking for a new club after his release from Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

Aston Villa have had reported interest in the winger, and with that, we here at FLW issued a poll asking Leeds United fans if they feel their club should hijack a deal for the former Wolverhampton Wanders man.

It was an interesting result from the poll, with 57 per cent of the Leeds fans who voted in favour of the club trying to etch out a deal for the wide man ahead of Aston Villa.

Sako would add plenty of power and pace to the United frontline and would fit perfectly into the system that Bielsa is employing right now.

Conversely, 43 per decent of the fans polled do not believe the club need the winger and have sided with the opinion that, at present, they do not require the free agent in their ranks, despite the majority believing he would be a good addition.Â
